DHSK holds special vaccination drive at Kashmir Press Club

Srinagar: Directorate of Health Services Kashmir on Thursday held a special Covid-19 vaccination drive at Kashmir Press Club for journalists in which over one hundred journalists were vaccinated.
A spokesperson of Directorate of Health Services Kashmir said the vaccination drive was held for journalists during which more than one hundred media men associated with different organizations were vaccinated. In his message, Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Rather said that they have taken the initiative to get every section of the society vaccinated.
“So journalists who are also front line workers. We want them to be safe and secure. I request all journalists to spread the message and encourage people towards vaccination,” he said. Meanwhile, journalists have appreciated the efforts of DHSK for holding vaccination drives at the Kashmir Press Club. “It is a good initiative that the health department has recognized journalists as front line workers as they deal with people and are at risk of catching infection,” said Irfan Yattoo, who is associated with Rising Kashmir and also a member of Kashmir Press Club.
The spokesman said in continuation with the special vaccination drive for College staff and students, a similar vaccination drive was also held at SP College Srinagar .
