Samba: Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) of police on Tuesday evening destroyed an explosive substance that was recovered from near the International Border in Samba district of Jammu.
Officials said that BDS carried out an externally controlled explosion and destroyed the substance in an abandoned area.
“The impact of the explosion was strong and the entire area got rattled with it,” they said.
Earlier, an anti-tank mine kind of explosive material was recovered from fields near IB in Samba following which the area was sealed. KNO
