BARAMULLA: A young man from Tangmarg sub division of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district received serious burn injuries after he carried self immolation by pouring kerosene oil on himself in his home Tuesday,
He, however, was shifted to hospital and remains under treatment.
Before taking this step he released a video on social media sites in which he blamed a faith healer from Budgam for taking such an extreme step.
In a three minute video clip which is viral on social media sites, he completely blamed a faith healer of Budgam.
On Tuesday when the young man aged about 35 took the step at his home at Darvashpora Tangmarg, the family members and other people shifted him to nearby SDH Tangmarg where he was shifted to SKIMS for advanced treatment, where his condition is said to be critical.
A senior police officer said that they registered a case under relevant sections of law and an investigation has also been launched. “We registered a case and also investigation is on, but we cannot say anything before we will investigate the case” officer said.
