Kupwara: SRINAGAR: A man received multiple injuries in a bear attack in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday morning.
Reports said that a black bear entered into the cowshed of Syeed Qasim Shah in Nagamargi Behak in Dardpora area of Kupwara and attacked his cattle, at the same time the owner tried to chase the beast, however, he was also attacked in which he received injuries, before other people reached the spot and chase the beast.
They said one of his cows was also killed in the attack and the injured person was later shifted to SDH Sogam for treatment.
On Thursday a person Gulab Ahmad Aawaan son of Bugoo Mohammad Aawaan of Warnow Lolab was attacked by a black bear outside of his home in which he received serious injuries,
The injured was hospitalised.
