Handwara: A man was killed while one person received minor injuries in a car accident at Gantamulla area of Baramulla on Baramulla Uri road Monday afternoon.
Eyewitness said that an alto was on its way to Baramulla from Boniyar, when it turned turtle near Gantamulla village and rolled down into a gorge, resulting in the injury of two people. The local people of the area reached the spot and shifted the injured to nearby public health centre Sheeri where one person was declared dead by the doctors. The deceased person was identified as Mohammad Ashraf Sood 26 son of Gulam Qadir Sood resident of Barnet Boniyar. Meanwhile local police of the police station Sheeri register a case and investigation has been started.
