Calls for vaccination of all staff

Srinagar: Director Horticulture Kashmir, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, convened a review meeting on Monday with all the Chief Horticulture Officers and other divisional level Officers of the Department. During the course of meeting a threadbare discussion was held at various agenda points.On the occasion the officers apprised the chair about the status of various works, revenue generated,expenditure incurred, liability, progress made in the implementation of various developmental schemes etc.
The Director stressed upon the Officers to ensure better implementation of Departmental schemes for the ultimate benefit of the grower and instructed them to adopt due transparency in this respect. He urged them to have special focus on High Density plantation.
He also emphasized for better and full utilization of funds and warned that low expenditure on the part of any of the DDO will not be tolerated. He also instructed the officers for making frequent visits to the orchards and stressed for creating a farmer friendly environment in the offices. He also advised them to ensure the 100% vaccination of all the employees under their subordinate against COVID-19 disease.
