Shopkeeper booked, Rs 68,500 fine realised in Pampore, Khrew for violation of Corona Curfew

Pampore: Jammu and Kashmir police on Friday booked a shopkeeper for violating COVID-19 restrictions and released a 68,500 fine from violators in Pampore and Khrew areas of Pulwama district.
Police team led by officials carried out checks at different places of Pampore and Khrew areas. Vehicles which were plying on the roads without pass/permission were fined for violating restrictions.
SDPO Pampore Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad told Kashmir Reader that a shopkeeper namely Bashir Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Sideeq, resident of Pulpar Kadlabal had kept his furniture shop at Kadlabal open in violation of the government order.
A case under FIR number 87/2021 under section 269 ,270 ,188 IPC has been registered against the shopkeeper.
He added that rupees 68,500 were released from violators as fine. Out of this Rs 46,500 fine was realised in Pampore and Rs 22,000 in Khrew.
Police have requested people to follow the directions issued by the government.
