BJP holds blood donation camp at SDH Pampore

Pampore: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Pulwama, youth wing of Bhartiya Janta Party organized a blood donation camp at Sub-district hospital Pampore to mark seven years of BJP Government at the centre.
The camp was inaugurated by spokesperson Altaf Thakur and BJP district president Pulwama Sajad Raina.
Members from the BJP youth wing donated around 30 pints of blood to needy people.
” When the first wave of COVID hit, BJP party kept working on the ground and now when the second wave is in progress BJP workers are working on the ground providing relief items to people,” JK Spokesperson, Altaf Thakur said, adding that other parties are seen nowhere on the ground.
BJP district president for Pulwama Sajad Raina told Kashmir Reader that they started several programs to mark this event.
” On Sunday relief among the needy was distributed and today we donated blood so that it can be given to the needy at SDH Pampore,” he said, adding that they would reach needy people at every place.
He also thanked his party workers from the youth wing for donating blood.
BJP Minority Vice President for JK, Mohammed Lateef Bhat also visited the camp and appreciated the Yuva members for donating their blood.
Others who attended the programme included from the district included, Youth wing Waseem Raja, General Secretary Farooq Ahmad Malik, Vice President Mohammad Shafi, District youth incharge Rayees Ahmad, District Youth General Secretary BJYM Pulwamma Javid Ahmad, Municipal Committee Chairman Malik Yaqoob, BDC Chairman Mir Altaf, Mahila Morcha president Pulwama Babita Bhat.
BMO Pampore Asma Nazir, Registrar Medical Officer Dr Mohammad Ashraf and others were also present.
