RAJOURI: To take stock of the developmental activities being carried out in the district, Additional District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Pawan Kumar today convened a meeting with the concerned officers here in the Conference Hall of the PWD Dak Bungalow.
Among the others, Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Khurshid; Superintendent Engineer, Jal Shakti Department, JP Singh; Chief Executive Officer, RDA, Vivek Puri; DSEO, Bilal Rashid Mir; ACD, Sushil Khajuria; CAO, Mahesh Verma; DPO, Chander Kant Bhagat, besides the Executive Engineers of the PWD, PDD, PMGSY, Jal Shakti, I&FC, JKPCC and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
A discussion concerning the performance of different departments under various schemes and welfare programmes being implemented in the district was held threadbare in the meeting.
The ADDC asked the officers to put in added efforts for effective implementation of the Government schemes on the ground level and provide the best possible benefits to the common under different welfare schemes.
The ADDC also exhorted the concerned Executive Engineers for mobilizing additional men and machinery for completing the projects in stipulated time frame, besides to ensure productive and fruitful utilisation of the available resources.
The DSEO was directed to ensure the time-bound completion of exercise regarding the physical verification of various developmental works executed in the district.
The ACD was asked to complete the pending PMAY houses in the district and ensure timely payments to the beneficiaries under MGNREGA.
The ADDC directed the AD FCS&CA to ensure the timely distribution of ration among the beneficiaries amid the pandemic so that they do not face any inconvenience. He was further directed to ensure the hundred per cent coverage of all the eligible beneficiaries of the district under Adhar Seeding.
