BUDGAM: Three children died after falling into a water trench on Tuesday evening at Narwara village of Beerwah in Budgam district.
The children were playing when they fell into the trench near their home.
They were immediately rushed to the Sub-District Hospital Beerwah where doctors declared them dead.
Block Medical Officer Beerwah Dr Javaid Ahmad Ganie told Kashmir Reader confirmed that three children were brought to the hospital and one among them was brought dead.
“Condition of the other two children was very serious and proper treatment was given to them But they died ten minutes after their arrival at the hospital, ” he added.
The trio was identified as 5-year-old Arsheman Bashir son of Bashir Ahmad Mir, Duha Ashiq daughter of Mohammed Ashiq Dar aged 4 years and Sabzar Ahmad son of Riyaz Ahmad Dar aged 5 years.
