SRINAGAR: NHPC Dulhasti Power Station has installed a 500 KW solar power plant in Semna Residential Complex of Power Station. This 500 KW solar power plant was commissioned by Nirmal Singh, General Manager (In-charge), Dulhasti Power Station today in the presence of R.N. Sharma, General Manager (Civil), Surendra Kumar Mishra, General Manager (Electrical) and other senior officials. Thereafter, Nirmal Singh along with senior officials inspected the solar power plant and took stock of the operations also.
Speaking on the occasion, Nirmal Singh congratulated everyone and said that the installation of this solar power plant will help in maintaining power supply at Dulhasti power station premises and it is estimated to generate 657000 kWh of electricity every year.
On this occasion, G.C. Sinha, Deputy General Manager (Electrical), Bidya Dhar Mohrana, Deputy General Manager (Electrical), Vidya Nand Das, Deputy General Manager (IT) Jagrup Kumar, Senior Manager (Electrical), Ashok Kumar Dhanwal, Senior Manager (HR), Davinder Koundel, Senior Manager (HR) and other officers and employees were present.
