Nothing found during CASO in Shopian village

Shopian: Government forces on Monday carried out cordon and search operation at Reshipora village in Zainpora area of Shopian.
Locals from Reshipora said that around 12 noon, forces laid siege around one of the village localities and carried out searches in a few houses. However, the operation was called off within an hour and half after no trace of militants found.
Police sources said that the operation was launched after the forces had an input about the presence of militants.
They said that the search operation was launched by 1 Rashtriya Rifles of army, 178th battalion of central reserve police force and police.
Two days ago a similar operation was carried out by government forces at Ratnipora village which also ended without any contact with militants.
