Students found attending classes, school at Bemina sealed

Budgam: The district administration Budgam on Monday sealed the school premises of Shah-i-Hamdan Educational Institute at Khumani Chowk Bemina after students there were found attending classes in the school premises.
A Rs 30,000 fine was also imposed on the school as penalty for violating the SoPs and government guidelines regarding Covid-19.
An official from the district administration told Kashmir Reader complaints were received from various quarters about the violation of government orders at the school.
“The Chief Educational officer Budgam today visited the Shah-i-Hamdan Educational Institute School at Khumani Chowk Bemina under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner Budgam. They found that physical classes were going on in the school,” the official said.
“The school was immediately under the directions of the deputy commissioner and a penalty of Rs 30,000 imposed for violation of SoPs and guidelines,” he added.
