Samba SWD organizing assessment camps to provide free aids, appliances to special persons

SAMBA: Social Welfare Department Samba, in collaboration with ALIMCO, is going to organize assessment camps to provide free of cost aids and appliances to Persons with Disability under ADIP scheme of Govt. of India.
The camps for assessment of Divangians (PwDs) are being held in Ramgarh, Vijaypur and Rajpura on 15,16 and 17 April, respectively.
The locations for camps being held in the month of April are Hr. Secondary school, Ramgarh, Community Hall Vijaypur and Hr. Sec School Rajpura from 11 am onwards.
The assessment camps shall also involve all the Panchayati Raj institution members for maximizing the ambit of social security schemes.
District Social welfare officer, Deep Kumar (Nodal Officer) has requested that all applicants to attach copy of 40% or more disability certificate, copy of Aadhar card, copy of ration card and two passport size photographs for on spot registration.
The DSWO also appealed that in case of non-availability of required documents all applicants shall be accordingly facilitated.
