Ramadan to begin in Saudi Arabia from April 13

SRINAGAR: The moon crescent, which would mark the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, has not been spotted in Saudi Arabia.
Accordingly, the first day of Ramadan will be April 13 (Tuesday), the moon sighting committee said on Sunday.
Khaleej Times reported that Saudi’s moon sighting committee met on Sunday to spot the crescent with the naked eye. Earlier, the country’s Supreme Court has also urged all the Muslims in the country to sight the crescent of the holy month and report the sighting to the nearest court and register their testimony.
