The fairies at our homes

The fairies at our homes

Fairies, Faries, Fairies…… We have always been told about the stories of fairies. These stories are either in a written form or are passed orally from one generation to another. Every child wishes to have a “fairy friend” who can give happiness, cure diseases, and above all, provide love. What if the wish becomes true someday? Well, it is really true that every child has a “fairy friend”: in our home sweet home there live two fairies. They can make us happy, cure our diseases, give us everything we want and above all, love us a lot. Who are they? None other than our parents.
Parents are a gift of god and they are such fairies who are not visible to everyone; only a few can see them. They have powers that even a fairy does not. Parents are the stories of love written in a million diaries. Their smile is the best relief of every pain.
Our mom is an ocean of love whereas our dad is a sky of care. It is our mom who rocks us in her womb, who looks after us until we’re grown up. No matter how much old we grow, in the eyes of the world, we may be old but in our mother’s eyes we are still little kids in need of care. A mother spends her entire life working for us like a maid 24/7, to preserve, shape and nourish our life. It is only one’s dad who puts up a shop of toys in one’s room, teaches one how to talk, what to say.
Everyone can be envious of you, except your parents. They are the only persons on earth who want to see you happier than they are. And no one is more loyal than them.
Sometimes, children misunderstand their parents. They think that their parents are suffocating them. But they don’t know that their parents are more experienced and know the world better than them. When we go outside for a few days, we think that now we know everything and start criticising our parents as being old-fashioned and not knowing anything about the modern world. Actually, they are like a carapace and we are like a tortoise. When we move out of this carapace, we think that we have acquired freedom. But we don’t know that we have lost the real protection.
Fashions can distract and mislead, but parents never will. They are the key to knowing how to spend life and beat all the obstacles. Parents are the best friends with whom we can live a lifetime. We can never repay them for what they have done for us.
So, let’s care and love these fairies in the same manner as they love us.
