Srinagar: As a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, 29 Rashtriya Rifles along with Municipal Committee Pattan organised a Cleanliness Drive at Pattan to promote the message of Clean & Green Pattan.
The event was inaugurated by Commander 10 Sector RR in presence of Rubal Nagi, founder of Rubal Nagi Foundation, SDM Pattan, SDPO Pattan, President Municipal Committee by releasing pigeons.
Rubal Nagi also interacted with students and highlighted the importance of children in Clean and Green Kashmir.
Distribution of sanitation items was also carried out by Indian Army.
450 villagers including students and the general public participated in the cleanliness drive.
The effort of the Army towards Clean and Green Pattan was appreciated and the Awaam urged to organise such events in future too.
