Srinagar: Downtown Heroes Football Club beat DFA Bandipora by a solitary goal in Srinagar edition of 28th Annual Football Championship match played at TRC Turf ground on Thursday.
. The match started with an agressive note & both the teams exhibited quality Football play & got lot of appreciation from the spectators. Bandipora boys tried hard to penetrate but could not find the net. It was in the 25th minute of Ist half that Downtown Hero’s made a brilliant move and succeeded in scoring a goal. The second half was virtually dominated by Bandipora boys & tried hard to equalize but could not break the solid defence of Downtown Hero’s FC. The match ended with Downtown Hero’s FC defeating DFA Bandipora XI by a solitary goal.
