Says will fight corruption at all levels

Baramulla : District Development chairperson Safeena Beigh reiterated people get awareness about the centrally sponsored schemes that will be implemented shortly.
In a joint block level meeting of BDC’S, Sarpanchs and panchs of two blocks, Wagoora and Sangrama held in community Hall Wagoora she thanked the central government for strengthening democracy at grass root levels and bringing administration at the door steps of rural areas.
She added that she does not want to fall into politics, but to work for the development of society” as the political discourse in Jammu and Kashmir has changed post abrogation of article 370.
She urged that we should think above party politics and must work together for the development of this region.
She gave patient hearing to the various issues raised by the serpents from respective blocks during the meeting , which pertain mostly to Education, skill development and entrepreneurship ,Handicrafts, agriculture, drinking water shortage, renovation and construction of panchayat Ghars .
She lamented the fact that corruption is a grave problem faced by the people throughout India but in Jammu and Kashmir the 27 year long conflict politics has infused corruption in the DNA of the people and it is difficult to overcome this problem within a short span of time. “I will fight corrupt officials in my capacity and will not allow anyone to do so,”.
