BARAMULLA: A pillion rider was killed while the biker received serious injuries after their motorcycle was hit by a tipper truck in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla on Srinagar Baramulla highway Wednesday afternoon.
Locals said that a truck bearing registration number JK05D-2212 hit a motorcycle near Hanjiwera area of Pattan on Srinagar Baramulla highway Wednesday afternoon, resulting in serious injury of two people on a motorcycle.
Both the injured to nearby hospital where pillion was declare dead while the biker was shifted to trauma hospital Pattan where he is under treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Mudasir Hussain Wani son of Abdul Rashid Wani resident of Modergund Bandipora while the injured biker was identified as Javid Qadir Lone son of Ghulam Qadir Lone resident of Arun Bandipora.
