BIL starts first skill development training course in PPS Bemina

ADGP (Cord) PHQ inaugurates the programme

Jammu: ADGP (Coordination) PHQ, S.J.M Gillani inaugurated the six day skill development course for the wards of police personnel and students at Police Public School Bemina Srinagar.
The course is organized by Bombay Stock Exchange Institute Ltd (BIL) in pursuance of MoU signed between Jammu and Kashmir Police and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Institute Limited.
IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, DIG CKR, Amit Kumar, SSP APCR Junaid Mehmood, SSP Shri Javaid Ahmed Dar, AIG (Wel-Comm) PHQ, Manoj Kumar, Sanjay Kumar and Rajesh Joisher, experts from BIL, Principal Police Public School, Bemina Tazim Wahidi and other senior police officers, staff of Bemina were present at the inaugural function.
ADGP (Coordination) PHQ while speaking on the occasion said that Police Headquarters has been continuously focusing on the welfare measures for the NoKs of police martyrs, serving & retired personnel and their family members. He said that on the directions and personal interests of Director General of Police J&K, an MoU was signed between JK Police and BSE under which BIL Institute is providing skilling development courses for the wards of martyrs, serving, retired police personnel.
Gillani said that in today’s modern times besides traditional educational systems skilled training courses are of utmost importance and added that this programme is an effort to provide skilled training to these wards to increase their employability. He advised the trainees to take full advantage of this opportunity and change lives for better. More such courses will be organized in future also, he added.
AIG (Welfare/Comm) PHQ, Manoj Kumar while speaking on the occasion said that Police Headquarters in recent past has introduced many welfare schemes for the J&K Police personnel, wards of serving, martyr and retired police personnel besides for SPOs.
