J&K dominate SnowShoe competitions

Srinagar: J&K dominated SnowShoe competitions on the fourth day of the 2nd Khelo India National Winter Games 2021 at Gulmarg on Monday.
On the fourth day of the National Games , competitions of five SnowShoe disciplines in both male and female sections were held. J&K bagged seven medals during the day and dominated the events.
In Sprint Junior Girls 1500 metre Latha AA of Karnataka bagged gold medal while as Mannat Mushtaq of J&K bagged silver. Madiha of J&K bagged bronze medal.
In Sprint Junior Girls 400 metre Rutba Saleem of J&K bagged gold medal while as Madiha of J&K bagged silver. Huriya of J&K bagged bronze.
In Sprint Boys Junior 400-metre category, Ayush Bhat of Uattarakhandh bagged gold medal while as Vansh of Haryana bagged silver. Karanbir of Punjab bagged bronze.
In Sprint Junior Boys 1500-metre category, Aijaz Ahmed Kenu bagged another gold medal for J&K while as Pavneet Singh of J&K bagged silver. Gh. Haider of Ladakh bronze.
In Sprint Senior Men 400-metre category, Akshay of Delhi bagged gold medal while as Vishal Vishnu of Maharashtra bagged silver. Balram of Haryana bagged bronze medal.
The races were lagged off by Director Water Sports J&K Sports Council Bilquis Mir alongwith J&K SnowShoe Officials Shabir Ahmed and Gulzar Khan.
