PAMPORE: Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Pulwama conducted trial test drives of 150 drivers in Saffron town Pampore area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The trials for the test drive were conducted in Nundresh Sumo Sand Tanchibagh, Pampore for the first time because the usual ground of Pulwama outskirts was under snow.
A huge number of drivers had turned up at Tanchibagh Pampore for the trials.
Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Pulwama Mouzzam Ali told Kashmir Reader that around 300 drivers had turned up.
“The trials were pending for one and half months because the ground in the Dussu area of Pulwama was unavailable due to accumulated snow, due to which around 300 people turned up. We can take trials of 150 persons only and the rest will be conducted in Pulwama as usual”, he said.
