8-day personality program concludes at SKUAST-K

Srinagar: In order to make students job-ready, an eight-day online programme on personality development was held at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Kashmir.
The programme was organised by the university’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cell in collaboration with CommuniCare, Pune-based soft skills solution providers, under National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP) for IDP of SKUAST-K.
More than 80 students participated in the programme, organised with an objective to bridge the gap between the current skills of students and expectations of employers and ready them to be successful in their future endeavours.
SKUAST-K’s Director Planning & Monitoring, and PI NAHEP, Prof Nazir Ahmad Ganai, who was the chief guest at the valedictory function, stressed on conducting such programmes more frequently to shape the career of budding students so that they can compete in the present-day job market.
Dr Farhanaz Rasool, in charge I&E Cell, gave a detailed report of all the sessions of the programme and presented the feedback of students regarding the training. Prof Farooq Ahmad Zaki, Ex Dean and HRM Consultant NAHEP said such initiatives are must to nourish the career of students by changing their way of traditional educational mindset towards next-generation leadership.
Director CommuniCare, Kaushal Rawat, I&E Cell Dr Naveed Hamid and IDP NAHEP staff were also present at the valedictory function.
