Srinagar, Budgam residents die of Covid

32 fresh cases in Kashmir, 12 in Jammu

Srinagar: A resident of Srinagar district and another of Budgam district were the two Covid-19 related casualties reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours up to Tuesday evening.
The government’s daily Covid-19 bulletin said that 44 new positive cases were reported in J&K in the last 24 hours, 12 from Jammu division and 32 from Kashmir division.
The bulletin said that 83 patients recovered and were discharged from various hospitals in the last 24 hours, including 33 from Jammu Division and 50 from Kashmir Division. J&K currently has 668 active cases, the bulletin said.
Providing district-wise breakup, the bulletin said that Srinagar reported 12 new cases and currently has 212 active cases, with 13 patients recovering in the last 24 hours.
Baramulla reported 2 new cases and currently has 40 active cases, with 3 patients recovering in the last 24 hours.
Budgam reported 1 new case and currently has 30 active cases, with 4 patients recovering in the last 24 hours.
Pulwama reported 5 new cases and currently has 47 active cases, with 10 patients recovering in the last 24 hours.
Kupwara reported zero new cases and currently has 28 active cases, with 3 patients recovering in the last 24 hours.
Anantnag reported 2 new cases, has 51 active cases, with 4 patients recovering in last 24 hours.
Bandipora reported zero new cases and has 18 active cases, with 4 patients recovering in the last 24 hours.
Ganderbal reported 9 new cases and has 55 active cases with 5 patients recovering in the last 24 hours.
Kulgam reported 1 new case and has 25 active cases with 2 patients recovering in the last 24 hours.
Shopian reported zero new cases and currently has 26 active cases with 2 patients recovering in the last 24 hours.
Jammu district reported 8 new cases, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Kishtwar 0, Samba 2, Poonch 1, Ramban 0, and Reasi 0.
