SRINAGAR: All AAI, Airlines, CRPF and CISF staff filled with a feeling of patriotism and dedication gathered in front of the Airport building. The celebration started with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Airport Director, Santosh Dhoke. In his speech, the director sir highlighted the importance of the Constitution and its unique features such as Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic and Republic enshrined in the preamble of the constitution.
In addition to that Airport Director announced about on-going project of 44 Crore for CISF barrack, 37 Crore for CRPF barrack, 1100 Crore for New Terminal Building to a total area of 53000 Sqm. is planned for handling peak hour capacity of 2300 passengers and it is expected to be completed by March 2024.
Airport Director, Srinagar Airport distributed the certificate of appreciation to AAI, Airlines, AAICLAS, CRPF, CISF and J&K Police employees for their extraordinary services and dedication to their profession.
The speech was followed by the National Anthem, various other representations performed by the CRPF and CISF staffs.
