PAMPORE: Renowned Educationist, Ex- Lecturer Farooq Ahmad Mir, resident of Kadlabal Pampore passed away.
Renowned Educationist and Scholar Farooq Ahmad Mir, passed away late Friday night at his residence at Kadlabal Pampore, after a brief illness.
The deceased was father of Dy Conservator of Forest in office of the Chief Secretary at J&K Govt Waseem Farooq Mir and Secretary Bar Association Pampore Tasaduq Farooq Mir.
Meanwhile, condolences have poured in from different sections of society on the sad demise of the renowned Educationist.
Fallah Behbood Committee Chief Organiser Mir Murawat Hussain condoled the sad demise and expressed profound grief and sorrow over demise of great noted Educationist Farooq Ahmad Mir and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
In a statement, Mir Murawat Hussain prayed for peace to the departed soul and sympathy with the bereaved family, especially Waseem Farooq Mir and Tasaduk Farooq Mir also expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for the strength of the family over the loss.

He lived a simple and austere life. His Contribution will be remembered forever and shall be a beacon light for society in general and the teaching community in particular for the times to come. In a message, media person Bilal Habib condoled the demise of my teacher Farooq Ahmad Mir Sahib and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the highest place in Jannah to the deceased.
