SRINAGAR: Mohammad Maqsood Rather has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Mallakhamb Federation of India(MFI), a statement issued by J&K Mallakhamb Association said on Wednesday.
According to the statement the elections were recently held at Bharatpur Rajasthan in which both the President and General Secretary of J&K Mallakhamb Association participated.
“The Game has recently been included in Khelo India its an indigenous Sport and recently a player from Mallakhamb has been awarded with Dronacharya Award,” it added.
General Secretary Nadeem Khan and Treasurer Ajaz Hassan of J&K Mallakhamb Association congratulate Rather on being appointed as Joint secretary.
