Srinagar: An unidentified militant has been killed in the gunfight with government forces which broke out in Lawaypora area on Srinagar outskirts Tuesday evening, police said.
Kashmir Zone Police tweeted this morning that a militant has been killed in the gunfight it said is still going on.
The gunfight was triggered around 6 pm last evening after forces reportedly launched a cordon in the area.
