SRINAGAR: Gulshan Cultural Forum Kashmir and Lassa Khan Fida Foundation jointly organized a seminar on “Hamara Saqafati virsa aur tasawuf”. The seminar was held at the residence of pampore town’s Farooq Ahmed Raina. Leading researcher, writer, poet and chairman of Lassa Khan Fida Foundation Prof. Gulshan Majeed was the chief guest while renowned broadcaster, poet and cultural volunteer Gulshan Badrani was the guest of honor.
The event was well held where many articles were presented. speeches, Naat, Manaqib and music created a lively atmosphere. MKhurshid Khamosh, Mohammad Saleem Chatbugi, Gulshan Badrani, and Prof. Gulshan Majeed presented noteworthy articles under the title “Hamara Saqafati virsa aur tasawuf”.
Many participants in the event participated in the discussion on our Cultural Heritage and Sufism was the main attraction which created a new heat in the atmosphere. During the program, the teachings of renowned Sufi poet Abdul Rehman Sada were also highlighted. His son Farooq Ahmed Ibn Sada was also present in the Presidency.
The program began with a recitation of Naat being recited by Muhammad Saleem and Abdul Majeed Chatbagi.
Naat and Manaqib were presented during the ceremony. Leading singer Mohammad Hussain Khan and the party presented musical items. Among others present who were present on the occasion were Mohammad Asraf Ghulam, Riaz Ahmed Kausi, Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Mohand, Nazir Ahmed Sheikh, Imtiaz Ahmed, Shawkat Ahmed and Gulzar Ahmed.
