SRINAGAR: Srinagar Municipal Corporation conducted demolition at various areas falling within Lalbazaar and Anchaar wards
The Enforcement wing stopped work of all those structures at a very initial stage which had deviations in sanctioned building plans and also demolished the illegal structures at plinth level in Lalbazar and Anchar areas.
The Enforcement wing is continuing to act on a number of illegal constructions including public complaints made against violators in the city.
It is time and again being monitored by the Authority whether Building permissions are regularly being checked at construction sites and the structures are coming up as per the permission.
The directions have been passed to the concerned that on finding deviations being done in building permission, the work has to be immediately stopped.
Demolition drives with regard to unauthorized constructions will continue to ensure that no construction without permission is allowed to take place in the city.
