SRINAGAR: Srinagar Municipal Corporation conducted an anti encroachment drive at the entire stretch of Lal Chowk, Gurudwara road, Amira Kadal road, Koker Bazaar , Mahraja Bazaar and adjoining areas.
The drive was conducted under the supervision of Chief Anti Encroachment Officer Umar Din Who was accompanied by the Anti Encroachment squad.
During the drive the goods displayed by street vendors and shopkeepers outside their shop were removed and seized on spot with the recovery of fine against the violators.
Similarly vendors/ raidiwalla’s were dispersed by the officials of Anti encroachment squad during the drive.
They were further directed not to occupy the public space .
