According to the statement issued by NIFF “ The Jammu & Kashmir Bank management on Mon day issued order regarding revival of its senior football team and academy aimed their participation in Premier League J&K scheduled to be heldon 17th November at TRC Turf Stadium Srinagar.”
“During pandemic situation all sports activities came to a halt which was the reason for bank authorities to temporarily depute their manpower towards banking operations. Since the sporting activities are pacing up post Covid lockdown, it is good see J&K Bank back on the field which is undoubtedly considered as the power house of football in J&K,” said chairman WC, NIFF B A Malik,.
Most of the players in J&K are eyeing themselves to be part of J&K Bank Football Team that is also known as a dream team for any player to play.
“Over the years J&K Bank has contributed immensely in development of sports particularly in the game of football which has no parallel. I personally congratulate Chairman J&K Bank, R K Chibber for issuing orders of revival of its team and academy that has brought back the smiles on the faces of football lovers and fans of the game,” Malik said.
He further adds ,“Many evil elements who claim themselves as football organisers left no stone unturned by issuing baseless and fake letters to mislead the bank management. Irrespective of this we hail bank authorities that they have not paid any heed to it and issued revival orders instead.”
J&K Bank’s return to play field will surely add much enthusiasm and excitement to the upcoming events and we look forward to see them again on a winning streak at both domestic and national level tournaments for which they are known, Malik added.
