Srinagar: Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) while congratulating the members of the JK IMA for constructing JKIMA house at Bemina Srinagar .
Dr Suhail Naik president Doctors Association Kashmir DAK said that in order to pursue noble aim and objectives for advancement of health & medical education in Kashmir in the larger interest of people and to provide a platform for young doctors, such institutions are the heart of the medical profession.
The house can be used for organising national level conventions, seminars, conferences & other technical activities for doctors fraternity. Presently there is a scarcity of such facilities & consequently our activities are restricted to a great extent Dr Naik added.
The JK IMA house at near GMC hostel Bemina Srinagar Kashmir will provide multiple services to doctors fraternity at reasonable rates besides academic activities, seminars, workshops, annual meetings, conferences, different trainings and accommodation.
The construction work of the building is already in an advanced stage, but there is an urgent need to construct a conference hall with all modern facilities and audiovisual systems. As we all are aware that the funds at their disposal are too meager to do these mega projects, hence the contribution from individual doctors and well-wishers are the only source, which can fulfill our cherished dream. In the earnest desire to complete the above projects, a humble beginning has been made by committee members by donation / collection of funds. For this purpose the DAK appeals doctors to contribute generously for giving a final shape to the house. We, therefore, request all honourable doctors to come forward & contribute generously for the noble cause at the earliest so that the task in hand can be accomplished expeditiously.
