Shopian: Thirteen persons were injured among them two with critical injuries when a tempo traveller overturned at Dhobijan area on Mughal Road on Saturday.
Officials from Shopian said that 13 travellers were on board the cab (JK02AQ-5944) when it overturned on the historic Road in the evening.
The vehicle was coming from Poonch and was on the way to Srinagar, an official said.
Soon after the accident, the injured were removed to district hospital Shopian for treatment. Of them, seven were shifted to SKIMS in Srinagar for specialised treatment and the rest are being treated at Shopian hospital.
Doctors at Shopian hospital confirmed that 13 injured persons were brought to the hospital with injuries.
Medical superintendent district hospital Shopian Dr Muhammad Ismail told Kashmir Reader that the condition of two persons is critical. “Six persons have minor injuries and the seven who were shifted to Srinagar have serious injuries. Of them two are critical,” he added.
