JAMMU: Department of Horticulture Jammu opened 23 facilitation centers / sale counters in all the Districts of Jammu Division where farmers and public in general can avail the opportunity of getting the fruit plants of good quality besides the value added products prepared at the fruit & vegetable processing centers of the department.
Director Horticulture Jammu, Ram Savak was present at opening of the sale center at Horticulture museum Talab Tillo and Govt. Fruit Plant Nursery Garhi Mishriwala of Jammu District.
While speaking on the occasion at the Garhi Fruit Plant Nursery, the Director advised the farmers to adopt moder techniques in cultivation of fruit plants.
Deputy Director Horticulture Jammu, Shafiqa Khalid, CCI, Vikas Anand, Chief Horticulture Officer Jammu, S. Sarabjeet Singh and other officers of Jammu district were also present on the occasion
