Medical camp held at Chakjamalmir

Srinagar: A Medical camp was organised by Zangam Army Camp of 29 RR on Wwednnesday v for the locals of Chakjamalmir area of pattan. The medical camp was aimed to provide free medical assistance as well as to bridge the gap between the local populace and Army.
According to a statement issued here, The Medical camp commenced with a talk by RMO 29 RR highlighting measures to be undertaken amid COVID-19 pandemic and importance of Community Hygiene and Personal Hygiene for a Healthy Society was also emphasized.
It was latter followed by detailed health check up of all patients and subsequently free medicines were also provided. A total of 287 people to include 137 ladies and 60 children were served by the camp.
The people displayed a very encouraging response to the initiative of the Army and requested for more events benefitting the local populace especially the lower strata of the society.
