Spectrum Football Tournament: RKFC clinches title after beating Lexicon FC by 7-0

Pampore: Real Kashmir FC (Reserve) humiliated Lexicon FC Ganderbal by 7-0 to clinch the summit trophy of Spectrum Football Tournament 2020 played at Iqbal Ground (Tanch Bagh) Pampore on Thursday.
RKFC took the lead in the first half of the match when their striker with a fine shoot put the ball in the net and hardly provided any chance to Lexicon FC goalkeeper to react.
RKFC (Res) dominated the first half and have maximum ball possession as they created several opportunities to increase their lead as they missed many chances.
Second half had Lexicon FC making urgency from both flanks, but RKFC defence was alert to any advances, making sure final score-line was in their favour when the whistle blew for the last time in the game. Danish of the winning team walked away with man of the match award while Amir was adjudged man of the tournament.
A total of 32 teams participated in the tournament.
Chairman Spectrum Advertising Services Abdul Rashid Bhat was the chief guest on the prize distribution ceremony and Tehsildar Pampore, Ishtiyaq Mohiddin was guest of honour, former India player Abdul Majeed Kakroo and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion Chairman Spectrum Advertising Services t asserted that he will continue to support sports related initiatives in the area.
Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohiddin said “I congratulate organizers for successfully organising the tournament. I am happy that such tournaments are being organized in the area.” s
The tournament was sponsored by Spectrum Advertising Services and is organised by Etihad Football Academy in association with District Football Association Pulwama (Zone Pampore).
Other partners of the tournament were Wallmax Interiors, Rootz Saloon, Zaffron Foods, Bizwiz Creations and Karachi Fashions.
