Srinagar: Real Kashmir (U-18) beat Downtown FC by 2-0 goals in the finals of Late Mohammad Shafi Memorial Knockout Football tournament played at Radpora ground here.
Both the teams exhibited quality football and received appreciation from the spectators who had gathered in a big numbers to witness the match.
Real Kashmir boys made certain excellent moves right from the start but could not easily penetrate the solid defense line of Downtown FC.
In the second half Real Kashmir succeeded in scoring two goals and Downtown FC made several moves the reduce the goal margin but failed to open their account.
By making certain tactical moves which kept the spectators spell bound. The spectators had gathered in large numbers to witness the enthusiastic match.
A total of 16 teams participated in the tournament which was organized by Radpora Football Club in collaboration with J&K Football Association.
Veteran Footballer Farooq Ahmad Bhola was the chief guest on the prize distribution and distributed the prizes among the winners and runners-up teams.
