ANANTNAG: District Development Commissioner, (DDC) Anantnag, KK Sidha today reviewed district level export plan for industrial up-gradation and export of local goods during a meeting here.
The DDC on the occasion stressed upon the officers to explore new ideas and ways for up-gradation of local industry and handicrafts so that quality products including bats, handicrafts and other such items are exported.
He assured the representatives of bat manufacturers and artisans that every possible support will be provided to them, adding that a comprehensive district level export plan is being prepared for the upliftment of the local industry and handicrafts.
Among others, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, General Manager DIC, LDM, J&K Bank Anantnag, Chief Agriculture Officer, AD Handicrafts and representatives of bat manufacturers and artisans attended the meeting.
