SRINAGAR: A traditional Arbaeen congregation was held in Shilwat hamlet of Sonawari in Bandipora district.

The Arbaeen Majlis which is being held every year under the banner of Hussaini Auqaf Committee Shilwat witnessed a huge gathering this year.

Members of the committee had strictly instructed mourners to follow SOPs amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Arbaeen congregation was followed by a procession which was taken to Masjid Ahlulbayt from Astan Aailya Shilwat and ultimately culminated at the same place.

Hussaini Auqaf Committee Shilwat conveys their gratitude to the officers of District administration and Police Bandipora for their full cooperation.
