Casual labours protest demanding wages , job regularisation

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Casual Labours United Front on Friday held a protest demonstration here in Srinagar demanding the government to release their pending wages and regularisation of their services.
The members of the JK Casual Labours United front assembled here at press enclave and held a peaceful demonstration in favour of their demands.
Imran Parray, one of the members from the casual Labours United front said that most of our casual Labours are upon the hunger strike from the last few in Jammu, the government should fulfill their demands.
” The government should take necessary framing of the regularisation policy for the casual Labours and implementation of minimum wages acts in Jammu and Kashmir. So, all the casual Labours across Jammu and Kashmir will get proper wages as per the minimum wages Act,” Parray said.
He said that the wages of the casual Labours which are working in the different departments is still resulting in the casual Labours are facing the financial crisis in their homes as they are unable to fulfil the basic demands at their homes. We are demanding the government to release their pending wages.
The protesting members of the casual Labours United fronted requested the L.t Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to look into matter and framing of the regularisation policy for all casual Labours.
