Sumbal:- In order to bridge the gap  between general public and police  on the directions of SSP Bandipora  Rahul Malik IPS , a PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held at Village Sonaburn Inderkote Sumbal .
The meeting was conducted by Chaired by SDPO Sumbal Nisar Ahmad and he was accompanied by  SHO Sumbal Muneeb ul Islam .
The meeting was attended by a large number of people from different villages of Sonaburn Inderkote Sumbal who  highlighted various issues like drug addiction and other issues in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, both the officers said that such meetings are conducted to seek the suggestion and support for better policing and would be conducted in the future as well to strengthen the bond between police and public .
SDPO Sumbal and SHO Sumbal  thanked the people for participating in the meeting and providing valuable suggestions.
Referring to the grievance highlighted by the participants, Officers assured  that these grievances and suggestions will be taken up with the concerned authorities for immediate redressal.
They further said that civil society members should come forward and share information with police about the drug peddling and consumption and help him in eradicating the drug menace which has become a nuisance in the area.
