SRINAGAR: The Enforcement Wing of the Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) today carried out demolition drives in Habak, Siadakadal and Rainawari areas of Srinagar city.
During the drive, four illegal constructions including 03 tin wallings and one plinth were demolished.
The illegal constructions were constructed taking undue advantage of the Covid-19 Lockdown. Also two FIRs have been lodged against the illegal constructions as a deterrent and an alternative measure.
Meanwhile earth filling was removed at Nishat near LDA parking.
