We were promoted to the 5th semester three months ago as per the Guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and official notice of the cluster university.
“Now the college has issued the notice to appear in the 4th-semester exams. During the three years we have already lost one year of the academic session,” He said.
He said that college should take necessary steps to prepare a tentative academic calendar for the students, so we can complete our degrees on the proper time.
Sheezan Rehaman, another protesting student said that due to the delay we are already losing our one year of the academic session. Now we are demanding the college authorities to promote us in our 4th semester on the basis of internal assessment.
The protesting students requested the college authorities to look into the matter, so, they will not face another delay in the 5th semester.
