Baramulla: An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was detected in Armpora area of Kupwara along Sopore-Kupwara road on Monday and later defused by the bomb disposal squad.
Officials said that army soldiers and police spotted the IED in a sand bag near a bridge with its wires connected to an iron road under the bridge.
It was immediately defused by a bomb disposal squad of the army.
