Sopore: A 48-year-old man was killed after he was hit by a speeding car at Lalad area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday morning.
The deceased identified as Abdul Rashid Ganaie, son of Late Muhammad Sultan Ganaie of Lalad Sopore was walking on a road when the vehicle bearing registration number JK15A-3006 hit him, resulting in his on spot death on the highway, a police official said.
He said the driver of the car has been arrested and a case has been registered in this regrad at Police Station Tarzoo Sopore. (KNO)
