BGSBU gets AICTE approval for University Polytechnic

SRINAGAR: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri got Letter of Approval (LOA) from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for its University Polytechnic. AICTE has sanctioned 60 seats for each stream including Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronic and Communication Engineering.
On this achievement, Vice Chancellor Prof. Javed Musarrat congratulated the faculty, students and staff of University Polytechnic and lauded the efforts of Er. Malik Mubashir, Principal University Polytechnic for his leading role in securing the approval. Prof. Musarrat said that this will gear up the academic excellence for University Polytechnic.
Prof. Musarrat mentioned that The University Polytechnic has state of art infrastructure comprising of specious lecture theaters, conference halls, workshops, library and well- equipped laboratories. Prof. Musarrat said that University Polytechnic aims at spearheading research and innovation in emerging areas of Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Electronics & Communication Engineering and to create an enabling environment to train innovative, capable and highly motivated manpower to meet India’s technological needs.
On the occasion, Prof. Iqbal Parwez , Dean Academic Affairs, BGSBU congratulated faculty , Students and staff of the University polytechnic for securing the approval. Prof. Iqbal said that instructional excellence, committed faculty and dedicated students makes the University Polytechnic a premiere resource for educating the technological pioneers of tomorrow. Prof. Asif Husain, dean School of Engineering and technology also congratulated the Students, faculty and staff of the University Polytechnic for this achievement.
