Baramulla: A school building was gutted in a fire incident on Monday night in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Sources said that fire was broke out inside a room of government high school school Nillah Pattan on Monday late evening, some locals walking near the school saw it and raised alarm due to which the other villagers also reached the spot and douse the flames, later fire tenders of Pattan also reached the spot and controlled the fire. They said that in this fire incident the old building of the school was partially damaged however the school records and other goods were saved by the people. The cause of fire could not be confirmed immediately.
Pattan police register a report in this regard.
