Pampore: Seven new cases of COVID-19 including five staff members of Sub district hospital Pampore were reported on Tuesday in Medical Block Pampore of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Five employees of the Sub district hospital Pampore and mother-son of Pampore have tested positive for COVID-19, officials said.
Dr Ashraf Bhat Medical Officer of Sub district hospital Pampore told Kashmir Reader that rapid antigen test results of seven people turned positive for COVID-19.
“Among the positive, five are employees of SDH Pampore and two others are family members of one of the positive employees,”, medical officer, SDH Pampore, said.
He advised people to avoid unnecessary visits to the hospital.
“The virus is spreading at an alarming speed , the people need to take all precautions to save themselves,” he said.
